Joy In The Lord
I have good, no, great news for you today.
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalms 118:24)
It is so important that we grasp that verse today, tomorrow and every day! God is good to us and a lot of the time we don’t even realize it. Just think about it for a minute. Who else would die such an excruciating death for you? Exactly, only Jesus!
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
That should make us so excited to be alive and we should want to tell everyone! We are living in a strange and scary world, but the one that created you and me knew this was going to happen before we even existed. That is powerful!
God is not scared or intimidated by what is going on and that is something to hold on to.
Scripture tells us that God knew that evil would be in the world but he was already planning for it. He is never taken off guard. Have hope and peace in that today.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:10-12)
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
God has a promise for each of us.
God is faithful. His promise always holds strong, no matter the circumstances. God doesn't leave us in silence. He is always present. It is we who need to increase our sensitivity to His voice. He is a real, personal, caring and compassionate God. Sustaining and blessing His children with unique callings, visions, blessings and skills to advance His kingdom.
I pray that every person reading this can have peace in knowing God has got this, even when we don’t.
God Bless and be joyful!
