To Everything There Is A Season

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 Hello everyone!

It’s been a very long time since I have written a Good News Blog, but it’s not because I haven’t had plenty of good news!

It has been a very busy season for me in lots of ways over the past year. Now, you need to understand that during this time frame, since you last read my Good News Blog, I wasn’t backslidden or mad at God or in a deep dark place. My focus was on other things. My husband and I bought a house, my stepdad passed away, I had major back surgery, I started a new job, my daughter had her second baby and my mom moved out of state. That is just to name a few things that have happened. It was a different season in my life. It was a time of mourning, excitement, physical illness, rejoicing and yes, some moments of sadness.

But after all the ups and downs in this short time span, God is still on the throne and I am amazed daily at what he does for each of us! You see, we all go through seasons in our life and the Bible tells us this. But the key to the seasons of life is found in Galatians 6:9:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

The most important factor is you! Keep up your spiritual strength through whatever season you are currently in by making sure you pray, read the Word, praise and worship, attend church (you get the picture) because the best news is that God will be with you through whatever season you are in. Just keep putting him first and no matter what season you find yourself in, you will get through it with victory and joy.

“Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;” Hebrews 11:25 Until next time, God Bless!
